Figure Skating Information
Galactic Ice is excited about it's growing figure skating program. Students interested in figure skating can become a part of our program through either Learn to Skate classes or Private lessons.
Our Learn to skate classes are offered Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings and are taught according to the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. Through these classes, students learn the fundamentals of figure skating. All ages are welcome to join. Please check out our learn to skate link for more information.
Private lessons are offered through our Galactic Ice coaches. Private lessons are given during freestyle sessions or public skates. Check out our coaches link to learn about our coaches and for contact information.
Guest Coach Policy
At this time, Galactic Ice does not permit private lessons to be taught by Guest Coaches during Freestyle or Public Skates.
Only coaches currently on staff at Galactic Ice are permitted to coach or give private lessons.
Guest coaches are welcome at USFS-sanctioned events (test sessions and competitions) held at Galactic Ice. USFS rules regarding coaching credentials apply.
